♥ And Kim’s American Idol is…

Most of the American Idol viewing public may feel like the competition is Crystal Bowersox to lose, but she doesn’t have Kimberley Locke’s vote.

Locke, who came in third place on American Idol second season in 2003, has been watching closely and she’s rooting for… Lee DeWyze.

DeWyze, Bowersox, and Casey James are the remaining contenders to capture the season 9 crown.

“I am rooting for Lee bcause I like Lee’s style. I think he has grown. In the very beginning, I wasn’t a fan of his. Not because he wasn’t talented, but because I didn’t think he was having fun. And over the past few weeks, I’ve really watched him come alive. He’s got talent. And I think he has talent he hasn’t even tapped into yet.”

♥ Returning to LA from NYC

I want to thank everyone who went out and downloaded their copy of “Strobelight” the first week!!!! I can’t thank you enough for all the tweets, messages, and support! This is going to be a fun journey! For those of you wondering what’s next I want to keep you updated. I am currently on a plane from New York, where I was promoting the new single. I did several interviews on camera and off camera. Checkout GlobalGrind.com and http://www.justin.tv/kimberleylocke those are just a couple! We will be doing a round of press in LA as well so stay tuned for more info.

For those of you who watch “Idol”, I will be a part of the show for Idol Gives Back on Wed, April 21. That night I will be hosting for E!, covering the Idol show. Keep your eyes open I’ll be popping up in a lot of different places.

As some of you may know I will be hosting my 2nd event for Camp Heartland in Nashville, TN on Saturday June 19th at the War Memorial Auditorium, “Disco Diva Bash, You Bring the Diva”. We will be launching the facebook page real soon and tickets will be on sale. Be sure to get yours! In addition to the party we have 10 special tickets available to have dinner with me in an intimate setting Friday, June 18th. I hope to see you there!!! ♥ Some quick updates

“Strobe Light” has been pushed back another few weeks, till April 6th. Plans of a radio tour are currently in talks. The song is being released through Randy Jackson’s label called, Dream Merchant.

Kim will also start blogging for USMagazine.com when the Top 12 are picked. So keep an eye out for that. We hear her favorite is Andrew Garcia so far!

Lastly, keep our fingers crossed for another chat with Kim. It’s been awhile since we were all able to talk with her through a chat and we are looking forward to it. Hopefully the plans will come together and it can be organized.
